The succulent chicken, cooked to perfection, is served with fragrant rice and a zesty ginger paste that elevates the dish to new heights. Every bite is a harmonious blend of flavors, a perfect reflection of the culinary traditions that this eatery upholds.

While the chicken rice is a crowd favorite, the menu is much more extensive, catering to a wide range of tastes. If you are a fan of noodle dishes, their “Char Kway Teow” is a must-try. This stir-fried flat noodle dish is bursting with savory goodness, packed with prawns, eggs, and bean sprouts, all cooked to perfection over high heat. It’s a dish that has an authentic street food feel, yet the quality and consistency here make it stand out.

Another noteworthy dish that draws attention is the “Nasi Lemak,” a Malaysian staple that is served with fragrant coconut rice, crunchy peanuts, spicy sambal, and a hard-boiled egg. Whether you enjoy it with fried chicken or beef rendang, this dish is a quintessential part of the Malaysian food experience, and New Lucky Restaurant Sri Petaling serves it up just right. The sambal adds a spicy kick to the dish, while the coconut rice adds a rich creaminess that is nothing short of heavenly.

For those who prefer vegetarian options, the restaurant also offers a variety of plant-based dishes. The “Vegetarian Stir-fry” featuring tofu and seasonal vegetables, seasoned with a perfect balance of soy sauce and spices, is a great choice. It’s fresh, healthy, and packs a punch of flavor without being too heavy.

  • This Kopitiam offers Thai Food, Braised Duck, Prawn Mee, Pork Noodle, etc. Atmosphere: 3.75 The place is rather clean but not sure why it doesn't feels that way especially when look from outside. Probably is the poor lighting and some what cramped space feeling right at the corner with not a lot parking slots hence people traffic is low here. Which means good spot as well if you prefer less noisy. The tables and chairs are solid and nice. Service: 3.5 Drinks orders and pays at counter for take away. Morning/Afternoon Stalls Food: Pork Noodle 3.5 Surprisingly tasty broth. Food: Fish Porridge 3.25 They apparently don't have chicken or pork but have Fish/Seafood porridges. The taste is quite ok (quite plain) with slight sweetness. Can't remember what fish was chosen but it's like Rm 16. Drinks: Kopi (Ice) 3 Take away less sweet. Flavor is acceptable but due to too much Ice it will taste very bland after. Priced at Rm 3.30 ---------------------- At night they offer Steam Fish/Braised Pork, Stew Soup, Ban Mian, Stir Fry Noodles/Rice (Siu Chao), Bak Kut Teh, Rice Wine Chicken, Braised Duck, etc. Evening/Night Stalls Food: Sour Spicy Mustard 3 Not flavorful enough but is okay if you prefer more plain. Its not spicy and more sourish. Priced at Rm 5 Soup: Radish 3.25 Seems like the style here is mostly original flavor of ingredients without too much other seasonings. It tastes okay but I think the soup here lacks a bit of boil time hence the ingredients still has quite some flavor. Priced at Rm 7 Hakka Delight's Wednesday Soup Day (morning/afternoon) is much better. Soup: "Yu Zuk" Chicken 3.5 Not sure if its "cordyceps" but very strong "Yuk Zuk" flavor. However, that's pretty much the flavor, its nice to drink but simple flavor. The Priced at Rm 8 with Rm 2 for Rice Add On. Food: Curry Pork Rib 3 Flavor and portion is decent. Priced at Rm 10 and Add On Rm 2 for Rice. Food: Bak Kut Teh 3 It has a strong taste of bitter, not very pleasant. The meat is 70-80% fat which is too much when I order mixed meats. Priced at Rm 17 (Add On Rm 1.50 for rice) which isn't cheap. Drinks: Chinese Tea (Cold) Priced at Rm 1.10

  • This corner restaurant was airy with air conditioning regulating the partially open dining areas. The food of each stall was unique and specially cooked by the chef. The food and drink were not bad. The atmosphere was not bad, and the service was good. Cheers! (2022-01)

  • The Teochew Fish Head Noodle was fantastic. I used to come to this place quite often for its Western Food. Then, the said noodle stall was closed. The cook said the stall is now open from about 7pm to 3am. The only grouse is its drinks are pricey. Regret not snapping photo of the noodle dish. I judt ate the fish head noodle again. Ordered RM8.50 for a small bowl. Big portion is at RM10. The Western Fiood stall is open 24 hours. I always take away Western Food.
